OUR LIFE IN PHOTOS

I have been taking photographs since I was eleven years old and also did my own developing and printing in a cupboard under the stairs. A blanket over the door shut out the light (and most of the air) and I can still smell the heady fumes of developer and fixer to this day.

I enjoy photography, although I don't profess to be very good and to be honest I probably enjoyed just as much buying the latest camera or gadget to improve my hobby. It seldom did.

My film cameras, like the semi professional Pentax LX's are now confined to a display cabinet. I had a couple of Canon 5D’s but they were replaced  with my Fuji X-Pro2; Fuji X-T5 and a trio of Leica’s including a IIIf, M6 and  M10.

Jill was my girlfriend at school and we met when we were both eleven years old. We went our separate ways after leaving school and met up again through Friends Reunited. We will celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary this year.

This is my new website as my old one at tMy original website was giving me problems as the Host, Zenfolio was archiving some galleries which took up to six hours to view.
